Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using AIChatOCR (the "App"). 
Users ("you") agree to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 (Scope)
1. These Terms apply to all relationships related to your use of the App.
2. The App operates primarily on device and does not transmit your inputs or chat content to external servers.

Article 2 (Conditions of Use)
1. The App provides chat functionality that runs on your device. You use the App at your own responsibility.
2. The App is free to use, but paid features may be added in the future.
3. You are responsible for complying with the licenses and terms of providers when obtaining and using model files and other distributed materials.

Article 3 (Usage Notes)
1. Because the App performs large-scale data processing, prolonged use or intensive tasks may cause the device to heat. Due to high memory usage, depending on device performance, the App may terminate unexpectedly (crash).
2. A device becoming warm or temporarily heating up is common for apps performing intensive tasks.
3. Avoid prolonged use on heat-trapping surfaces (e.g., fabric or enclosed cases). Taking breaks to let the device cool can improve comfort and stability.

Article 4 (Use of Gemma)
1. The App includes functionality that utilizes a model trained based on Google's Gemma family (the "Gemma Model").
2. When using features powered by the Gemma Model, you must comply with the Gemma Terms of Use.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)
You must not engage in the following when using the App.
1. Modifying or reverse engineering the App.
2. Unauthorized access or interference with services.
3. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
4. Improper use of information obtained through the App.
5. Generating content that infringes copyrights or other third-party rights.
6. Generating or promoting content related to child sexual abuse material, terrorism, fraud, hate speech, harassment, violence, or self-harm.
7. Generating misinformation, misrepresenting AI outputs as human-authored content, or impersonation.
8. Generating sexual content (except for scientific, educational, or artistic purposes).
9. Unauthorized tracking or generation of personal information, or making false professional claims or automated decisions in the fields of healthcare, finance, or law.
10. Any other conduct deemed inappropriate.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)
1. The App is provided "as is" without warranties, including completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, security, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
2. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the App, including indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss.
3. The App uses open-source libraries under their licenses, and we do not guarantee the availability, authenticity, or continued provision of model distribution sources.

Article 7 (Changes or Termination of the Service)
The App may change or discontinue features without notice.

Article 8 (Changes to the Terms)
We may change these Terms as necessary, and any changes will be announced on this page.

Article 9 (Governing Law)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
